Moranda Metals Further Strengthens Board of Directors

(18 March 2025, Vancouver) Moranda Metals Ltd. ("Moranda Metals" or "the Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of Roberto Huby as a Director.

Mr. Huby is an accomplished Peruvian executive and investor that brings significant LatAm leadership experience to Moranda Metals.  As a senior executive within Glencore’s copper division, Mr. Huby managed day-to-day corporate affairs across Chile, Argentina and Peru, including sitting on the joint venture boards of two of the largest copper mines globally, namely Antamina and Collahuasi.  Mr. Huby’s breadth of leadership experience includes acting as CEO of Volcan Compañia Minera S.A.A, amongst other executive and board-level roles within the mining and energy industries.

Mr. Huby is currently a member of the board of Gruas ETAC Peru and a partner at Vector Global Logistics Peru. He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru and an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Additionally, he holds the Corporate Director Certificate from Harvard Business School and the Sustainability Professional Certificate from the Global Reporting Initiative.
